Established in 2022, Fukurou is located inside of Waikiki's hottest nightlife Bar and Restaurant: Buho Cocina y Cantina. The names "Buho" and "Fukuro" directly translate to "owl", which is an important 'Aumakua in Hawaiian culture because it serves as the protector between heaven and earth where our restaurant sits.
Under the direction of Chef Miki Yanagihara, Sushi Fukurou invites guests to a meticulously curated Omakase experience where Japanese Kaiseki artistry meets a subtle Mexican flair. Expect precision, creativity, and a memorable journey of flavors crafted to delight your senses.
